I have had a mixed cultural background growing up, which has sometimes made it difficult to find places where I belong. Given the mission we have at DeepL of breaking down language barriers, I find that those around me are open and curious to learn more about this background. This helps me to feel comfortable being myself and gives me a sense of belonging here.
As a Jordanian who moved to Germany to complete my studies and begin my career, joining DeepL has been a transformative experience. Unlike my previous roles, this is the first job where I really feel at home, thanks to the company's inclusive culture.
