DeepL Pro – Additional Terms and Conditions for the saved translations feature

Customer uses the Services provided by DeepL SE, Maarweg 165, 50825 Cologne, Germany (“DeepL”) based on an existing agreement between Customer and DeepL (“Existing Agreement”). These Additional Terms and Conditions for the “saved translations” feature (“Additional Terms”) apply if and as long as Customer uses the feature "saved translations" (“Feature”) for DeepL Pro. By activating the Feature in the account settings, Customer agrees to these Additional Terms.

1 Subject of these Additional Terms

1.1 These Additional Terms apply in deviation from the Existing Agreement to the extent that Content and Processed Content remain stored on DeepL servers on Customer’s request until Customer deletes such Content or Processed Content. In the event of conflicts between these Additional Terms and the Existing Agreement, these Additional Terms prevail.

1.2 In all other respects, the Existing Agreement between Customer and DeepL applies. Any terms defined in the Existing Agreement also apply to these Additional Terms.

2 “Saved translations” feature

2.1 DeepL provides Customer who uses the Feature with the option to save Content and Processed Content during the term of the Existing Agreement to their DeepL Pro customer account. Translations saved by the Customer are stored on DeepL servers.

2.2 By clicking the icon “save translation”, the selected Content and Processed Content is saved in the respective account until (a) such Content and Processed Content is deleted by Customer and/or the respective Internal User or (b) the Existing Agreement expires or is terminated.

2.3 The Feature can be deactivated at any time in the customer account settings.

2.4 For team accounts, the Feature can only be activated and deactivated by the authorised administrator for all associated team accounts.
