DeepL Voice now understands Mandarin, Ukrainian, Romanian and Indonesian
DeepL Voice can now translate speech in Mandarin Chinese, meaning that 1.1 billion more people can participate in meetings in their first language. Adding speech recognition for Ukrainian, Romanian and Indonesian means another 65 million people in Europe can be understood through DeepL Voice for Meetings and DeepL Voice for Conversations when speaking the language they prefer. From retail to manufacturing to technology and professional services, this is helping global businesses to better serve customers, support colleagues, co-ordinate complex international supply chains and onboard new employees.

DeepL Voice can now translate speech from 17 languages, and can generate translated subtitles in all 35 languages available for DeepL Translator. We’ve also added the ability to download full, translated transcripts of conversations in participants’ languages of choice, helping organizations to do more with the content of multilingual meetings and conversations.

DeepL Voice integrations for Zoom Meetings
We’re making DeepL Voice more accessible in another important way as well. Launching in September 2025, our DeepL Voice integration for Zoom Meetings brings real-time translated subtitles to one of the world’s most-used video conferencing platforms. This adds to the DeepL Voice for Meetings integration for Microsoft Teams, and means that an estimated 88% of all video meetings now have a DeepL Voice integration available.
